Erica was born in Kirkland and she and her family relocated to an island in Alaska when she was seven. She is excited to finally be home in Western Washington after years of education and various adventures. Erica loves the culture that larger cities have to offer and she enjoys repeated attempts at gardening, cooking, and any outdoor activity.
Erica obtained her baccalaureate degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University and worked for seven years as a pediatric intensive care unit nurse prior to earning her Master’s degrees as both a Nurse Midwife and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of Michigan.
Each woman’s experience is unique and Erica is guided by the goals that women set forth to help empower them through this incredible journey. She encourages a team approach that focuses on the woman as well as the family during pregnancy and childbirth. Erica’s primary care pediatric nurse practitioner education is an advantage in helping assist families in the transition into parenthood and she loves “catching babies”.
